The overview of Maritime Institute of Information Engineering
Maritime Institute of Information Engineering, founded in 2007, is a subsidiary of Shanghai Maritime University College of Information Engineering, research and teaching units; the existing associate professor of the Institute for a the lecturer a dozen engineers two graduate.
The Institute was established more than a year to undertake a number of research projects, the initial formation of the direction of artificial intelligence, video processing and monitoring platform, has laid a good experimental research base for postgraduate training.

Shipping Information Engineering Institute is a research and teaching unit under the Shanghai Maritime University College of Information Engineering, research-based teaching supplemented, is mainly responsible for the research tasks as well as graduate and undergraduate teaching mission.
Work situation and Features
Institute in the care of the College leadership and the efforts of all the staff, has assumed a wide range of issues of national 863 project and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the horizontal project completed and carried five, per capita annual research funding of more than 200,000, and to form a video processing and monitoring system design based research direction.
